Overview … I have been diving for over 30 years and currently own and run Australia’s only completely Tec/RB dive store (no open water courses/gear etc.) The shop Southern Cross Divers (SXD) is located on Sydney Harbour with absolute water frontage to the depth of 25m, which is perfect for most of our training needs.
Current active Training agency Instructor ratings:
- BSAC Advanced Instr.
- PADI Master Scuba Instr.
- SSI Instructor Certifier
- IANTD Instructor Trainer Trainer
- IART Instructor Trainer and IART Australian Regional Office owner
- RAID Instructor
I have been diving RB units for approximately 18 years starting with the Drager FGG III. I was formally trained on RB’s back in ‘96 on a Drager Atlantis by Rob Palmer. I have been teaching on the RB units since ’98 when I purchased my first Inspiration from A P Valves.
The majority of my RB training is conducted via IART and IANTD.
SXD is by far the largest retailer of RB units in Australia and I personally have trained several hundreds of RB divers over the pass ten odd years to all levels.
